Let me break it down to you- There are two ways you can build your career in content 1- By creating your own 2- By working for other creators in the space As a creator, the first thing the you would have to focus on is identifying your niche, researching, choosing the platform basis your audience like Instagram and YouTube, etc With millions of creators, it’s tougher than ever to get noticed. But the secret sauce is- Be Consistent, Be authentic, niche down, and deliver high-quality content. It might take you 6-12 months of consistent efforts to finally monetise but the earning potential is huge! Your revenue streams could be ad revenue, brand partnerships, sponsored content, selling merchandise, online courses, or subscriptions. The other option of working for other creators is relatively easy as you will have a stable income in the form of salary. You can explore roles like Social Media Marketing, Video Editing, Script Writing, etc. The industry will continue to explode so these roles are in high demand! Remember, building a successful career in content creation takes time, dedication, and consistent effort. Focus on creating valuable content, building a strong community, and exploring diverse monetization strategies. Where do you fall on the Courage versus Humanness scale? ⚖️ Let me break it down for you… Humanness is about the ‘human’ factor: empathy, kindness, consideration, aka ‘compassionateness’ or the ‘humane orientation’ in research (House et al., 2002; Seco & Lopez, 2014). The Courage-factor is about being assertive and standing up for yourself and for what’s right. You need to balance both. ⚖️ By striking the right balance between Humanness and Courage, you’ll create healthy and productive relationship at work (and at home!). P.S.
