No matter how BEHIND you think you’re starting, or re-starting, ANYTHING is possible if you put in the work and DECIDE to BELIEVE you CAN do it ... ..thru all the days and hours of seemingly insignificant work, setbacks, haters, unforeseen circumstances, don’t give up!! Although I don’t know this amazing World Record Holder🏆 @ziyahleigh__ personally, I can almost guarantee she ran this race with 100% belief and vision of running exactly as she did! I mentor women daily and I hear things like... “well idk if I can do it because...” “I’ll give it a try, but ....” Phrases that imply they’re mentally dipping ONE TOE IN. I get it. You’re protecting yourself. If you fail, you can say you tried 😌and then quit. But MINDSET is everything❗️ You have to ATTACK goals & welcome the failures as LESSONS & get back in the race even if that means you’re starting from BEHIND. Attacking goals means you write a plan, you FIND answers thru your own ACTIONS, you don’t wait for ANYONE to tell you what’s next, you adjust QUICKLY to mistakes, you take OWNERSHIP of your actions. Don’t let ANYONE count you out. Especially don’t let YOU count yourself out! I’m assuming Ziyah has NOT won every single race in her life ...but do you think THAT stopped her or FUELED her?🔥 Do you think she was bummed to see how many women she’d have to pass ...do you think she thought about the days she didn’t run well....or do you think she blocked the negative talk & was PUMPED to race?! Every stride tells me she had positive self talk on full volume and was PUMPED. So.. it’s perspective and mindset -backed by LOTS of focused, hard work and patience-that allows extraordinary things to happen! My husband is a doctor and he couldn’t agree more. If we change the way we eat - prioritize one ingredient real foods and significantly limit the amount of ultra processed foods we eat, as well as drink, we would improve our health drastically!! A pill is easy to take, but it is a band-aid and without putting in the work and changing the way you eat, move, think and do, you will likely be on that band-aid medicine for the rest of your life. And guys, we weren’t designed to be on all those chronic medicines! The biggest lesson I can share, from my own experience is that when you change the way you eat, you change your health forever!! Chronic medicines, frequent headaches, GI distress, acne, behavior disorders, obesity, weight gain, lethargy.... this ISN’T NORMAL! Sure, you can continue doing exactly what you are doing and take a pill for the rest of your life. You can support Big Pharma and help them profit..... OR.... you can take back your health, your life, your family! Changing the foods we eat - switching to more real 1 ingredient foods and cooking at home is the best medicine you can ever take! Moving your body, walking, lifting, bike riding is the best medicine you can take. Getting outside, skipping the sunscreen and letting the morning sun kiss your skin, breathing in the fresh air and nature is the best medicine you can take. Prioritizing sleep instead of staying up until midnight watching netflix is the best medicine you can take. Friends, let’s put the chronic pill side of big pharma out of business!
