Sad truth, in the blink of an eye everything changes and what we think matters just doesn’t. We’re all told to go school for 18+ years and work for another 40+ years because this is what was always done and was the definition of “success,” yet may of us don’t make it to 60 to enjoy that prize in the end(retirement). I have found a way to create another income stream outside the mainstream. Where you get to enjoy life, shorten your years at your 9-5, by leveraging social media. This is an educational platform and a business model that is designed to allow you to work from anywhere you choose, whenever you choose and make as much or as little income as you choose. It’s yours to build and grow! You treat it as a business and you’ll get paid like one. ☺️ It’s a smart and simple model that’s generating life changing income for people everywhere with only 1-3 hours of work a day and a phone. If you’re ready to take a chance on you, DM or comment me info! #motivation #inspiration #opportunity #chance #corporate #lifestyle #vacation #destination

🚨Handling the “gossip”👇 🧠 When someone has been gossiping about us behind our back it is the worst feeling. This can lead us to react and go in all guns blazing, and in doing so lower ourselves to their level. ▶️ Now I totally get that it’s very counterintuitive but stay with me on this one… if we match their energy we almost guarantee they won’t listen and may even talk more about us. ✅ Instead I would recommend reminding yourself of a phrase I love by Michelle Obama “when they go low we go high”. Which means approaching it in the opposite way to how they’re behaving: 1️⃣ Be calm and respectful (we don’t need to disrespect others because they’ve disrespected us- let’s not give them this power) 2️⃣ Share what you know factually, the impact (e.g. “I’ve been upset about it” or “it’s been impacting my mental health”) and ask them where it’s coming from 3️⃣ Don’t react and remain confident in yourself 4️⃣ Avoid making demands or threats instead make requests for example “please can you refrain from talking about me and come to me directly if there’s something on your mind?” 🔥 Human beings are way way more likely to do something we ask when it’s phrased as a request not a demand or threat. If the gossiping persists you can then have a much firmer conversation 📌 Please remember the advice offered in this video is generalised. You know your situation better than anyone else so trust your instincts, if this doesn’t fit your situation ignore it. You’ve got this 💪 💬 Leave a 🙌 in the comments if this was helpful 💾 Save this for when you might need it ✈️ Share with someone who this could help 🚀 Follow for more tips on handling tricky people at work #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #communication #communicationskills #difficultpeople #difficultconversations #gossip #corporate #work #emotionalintelligence

Ever caught yourself over-apologizing at work? You’re in good company. But there’s a risk… Those unnecessary “sorries” can actually chip away at your credibility, a pitfall that could be costing you more than you realize. This is especially the case if you’re already battling confidence issues or if your credibility is in question (think being the newest person on a team, the most junior, a new leader, or part of a minority). Sincere apologies absolutely have a time and place, but over-apologizing can harm you. When you shift to appreciation, it can change the whole dynamic– both how you feel, and how the other person sees you. So, if you’re an over-apologizer, here are five go-to responses you can give instead of an unnecessary impulsive “sorry!” Save the apologies for when you truly mean it. P.S.
