Ghosting someone, which is abruptly cutting off all communication without any explanation, can be hurtful and leave the other person confused and uncertain. Instead of resorting to ghosting, it’s considerate and respectful to send a text explaining your decision and allowing the other person to move on with their life. Sending a text to communicate your intentions clearly can provide closure and give the other person an opportunity to understand where you stand. While it may be difficult to deliver the news, doing so with empathy and honesty can help minimize any potential hurt feelings and allow both parties to move forward. While we’re at it, let’s start to sit with why you feel ghosting would be a better option then just clearly expressing your thoughts and feelings to someone so you both can move on. Don’t give me the BS “I’d rather be ghosted than get this” cause then you’re just as emotionally unavailable as the person who’s not sending it. Remember, open and honest communication is key in maintaining healthy relationships and treating others with respect, even when ending or declining a relationship. #ghosting #dating #datingadvice #breakup #text
