Normalize crying at work. It’s nothing to be ashamed about or to apologize for. Crying is vulnerable and vulnerability is a strength, when used wisely. In this example, a manager gave me some very hasty, inaccurate feedback. This made me, understandably, emotional. I found power in articulating why I was crying. It was my way of holding that person accountable. And I stopped apologizing. This helped me release the shame attached to crying at work. Very freeing. 🔗 in b i o for 1-1 career coaching🔮 #corporatelife #corporatemillennials #careeradvice #tips #interviewtips #CareerCoach #CareerGoals #CareerChange #LevelUp #RecentGrad #InterviewPrep #confidence #women #womenempowerment #new #powermood #apowermood #discover #reels #careerdevelopment #learnwithme #careerexpert #jobsearch #recruiter #getajob #trending

Leadership lesson by Steve Jobs after leaving @apple It’s one thing to find the members of your A-star Team. It’s another thing to give them the room to make mistakes and learn without your direct involvement This is the difference between micromanaging leaders and inspiring leaders. So it’s best to know if each individual member of the team has a long term growth potential, and the willingness to learn from their own mistakes What do you think of this approach to leadership?
