Price anchoring is a clever strategy used in luxury stores, and it works like this: Imagine walking into a high-end store and the first item you see is a belt priced at 1 lakh. That sets a mental ‘anchor’ for what things cost here. Then, you spot a pair of shoes for 50,000. Suddenly, compared to the belt, the shoes seem like a bargain. This is the essence of price anchoring. By first presenting a more expensive item, the store sets your expectations high. When you see a less expensive item afterward, your brain automatically views it as more affordable, even though it’s still pricey. Luxury stores use this tactic to make their high-end products seem more accessible. By strategically placing more expensive items next to slightly cheaper ones, they create a perception of value and affordability. It’s a psychological trick that encourages customers to spend more than they might have originally planned. In short, price anchoring plays on our perceptions of cost and value, making us more likely to splurge on something we perceive as a ‘deal’ in the context of luxury pricing. #anchoring #pricing #bias #startup #luxurystore

✨ First things first- what is UGC? UGC is when you create photos and videos for brands to use on their social media pages. You actually don’t need a following because you DON‘T post it on your socials! So while you’re growing your account you can already start making money. I only had less than 200 followers when I had my very first UGC deal of $600. Here’s how to start UGC ⬇️ Step 1: Learn everything you need to know about UGC (e.g how to create UGC videos, what is a hook, what is a CTA, what’s a script etc.) Step 2. Create a UGC portfolio (you can easily use Canva) showcasing what you can offer a brand. Create videos with products you have at home as sample content showcasing brands your content creation skills. Practice how to create good videos. Step 3: Pitch to brands and/or look out for jobs at UGC platforms (e.g Hashtagpaid, Influee, Octoly etc.). If you pitch to brands make sure to find the right person to send your pitch to (the persons you’re looking for: marketing manager, social media manager, etc.) ✨SPECIAL TIPS:✨ 💸For a UGC video you can charge $150-$200 as beginner. 📲 By offering upsells (e.g hook variations, pictures etc.) AND charging extra for usage rights (which should be done always!!) you can make $500-$1,000 per UGC collab! 💡 2 UGC collabs à $500 = $1,000 That’s it! If you wanna dive deeper into UGC, just comment “Guide” and I will send you the link to my step by step UGC guide 🚀 please check your DMs afterwards ✨ #ugccreatortips #ugccreatorsneeded #ugctips #ugcnet #ugccommunity #usergeneratedcontent #ugcjourney #ugcnetenglish #contentcreatortips #contentcreator #ugcexample #digitalmarketing #pricing
