Part 1. Watch to the end.
I tell my story without breaking often these days, but sometimes it still gets me cos it was insane. One day I’ll have a platform that allows me to share the full thing from start to finish properly…
This has been blood, sweat and tears from the very beginning.
I think we look at people or brands on these platforms that look nice and shiny ✨
My story is one of pain and suffering more than most could comprehend. One thing after the other until my body nearly gave up. It was years of trauma and torture. And I had to undo all of it.
So many times I didn’t think I could carry on. I had to pull myself out of some very dark places physically and mentally, because no one could help me, or they could for a tiny bit and then still scratched their heads and sent me on my way once treatments and things stopped working. It’s why I studied and researched everything I could to get some top line understanding of as many different modalities as possible to find what worked and what made sense.
I did this. I made a full recovery cos of me. Many people thank their doctors and team of health professionals for their recovery from illness. I actually thank the people below who gave me some seeds of wisdom that allowed me to dive deeper into health and well-being where no doctor came close.
People like @stopchasingpain @gabormatemd @drpeteralevine Deb Dana, Stephen Porges, Robert M. Sapolsky, who educate so profoundly on stress, trauma and the body. Whose work has saved countless lives including mine and who I pay homage to in my own body of work with @movementismedicine.uk
The journey continues 💪
