It shares land borders with Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay and the border with Chile is the 3rd longest border in the world. Argentina is heavily protected by its geography. More than 30% of the country's land area is covered with Andes Mountains from top to the southern tip of the continent. In the North, it is covered by rainforests and jungle zones with large rivers like Piranha, Paraguay, and Uruguay. In the central region, It is covered with flat pampas and farmlands which are well suited for agriculture and one of the best agricultural lands in the world. In the South, It is covered by the Patagonian Desert, one of the cold deserts in South America. Which is also rich in minerals, oil and gas resources.
