what industry did you decide to pursue a career and first of all i started off in marketing and then i went and became a venture capitalist what has been the most amount of money that you've ever made a single year no gosh it would be probably ten to fifteen million dollars and fifteen million dollars what happened that year that you were able to make ten to fifteen million dollars well i invest in businesses i'm on a tv show that does investments and also just building businesses and selling them what's been the best financial decision that you've made throughout your lifetime investing in myself for sure the end of the day listen success lies at that intersection of purpose and passion find that and you'll be successful the other thing i'm going to say to all of you younger generation out there it's all going to be okay i know it feels really bad and really crowded right now and scary and there's a lot of theory you don't know if you should start a business start the business take that first step a lot of entrepreneurs still have a great idea they'll start that business but they don't know how to scale and grow it what's the secret to scaling start with your local community like people always want to start why let's do it all across the united states or all across canada i'm from canada so it's always about you know like let's be big fast prove your market get product market fit make sure your unit economics are working test the market find out what your customer wants then scale so don't scale too fast
