there was this girl in europe who is so charismatic that she could just make anyone she talked to feel like the only person in the world and i just straight up asked her how she did it because it was such a good skill and i was like i need to know how to do this first she's pretty taken aback when i just straight up asked her but eventually she answered she said that the most important thing is ask someone a question and then listen to what they actually say don't listen with something to respond with like just listen to listen and to understand them rather than to be understood and although that's the only tip and we've all heard of before the level of mastery she had over it and the degree to which she implemented it was really impressive so we can take away from this is she literally just does the basics and is incredible at it he's just really good at the basics so if you want everyone you talk to to feel like they're the only person in the world just actually listen to what they say don't listen with response and just listen to them to understand rather than to be understood
