What I thought would take me 2 months.. took me 6! But it was so worth it! This garage was my biggest build yet! What started as a pile of plywood because a functioning workbench and plenty of storage!

What do you think? Would you try this out?

hi i'm kelsey i recently completed my garage renovation that i thought would only take two months and instead took me six let me show it to you this is a picture of our garage before i started by building all my own cabinets and i've never built calmness before so this part did take me a lot longer than i thought i built two big storage cabinets and all my lowers and then i added in a countertop using plywood and made it look like foe would using this fun paint technique and glaze next i added in my upper comments which gave us additional storage and more spots to shove stuff into we really did get rid of a lot but i didn't want to see the clutter anymore then i built all my cabinet doors using pocket holes anyone can do this i have other videos saved on it if you'd like to check that out the next big part of my project was building doors again i'd never done this before but i figured it out with a few frustrations along the way then it was time for the biggest transformation of all redoing these garage floors i used a d i y at-home a proxy kit to make them look amazing our floors looked brand new by the time i was done i did want to add some color in here so i added in the ship lap along the back wall in the last part of this build was i decided to add them under a bench next to our door using all scrap wood because i had a lot leftover from this project and then one of my favorite cost saving techniques i've done a few spots is using quarter-inch plywood to make foe shiplap this is a lot cheaper than buying the real stuff finally hung the doors on the upper cabinet and the garage was done here's a reminder of the before and then here's a picture of the after described to take me a lot longer than i initially planned but it was worth every single second it's so nice to have a functioning working space
