For all my “I don’t have time to exercise” people LISTEN UP! Exercise snacks are movements that take less than five minutes. Turns out if we do these short little workouts randomly throughout our day it pays off BIG TIME. You build muscle which has huge benefits (like improved sleep, hormone regulation, improved mood/mindset, etc)
I tested this theory exactly one month ago…
In between my client sessions I did 3-5 “exercise snacks”.
I put on my headphones, put on one song and did the following:
1. Plank
2. Wall sits
3. Squats
4. Leg lifts
5. Abs
Did the one exercise for the entire song and then moved on with my day until I could fit in my next exercise snack. Some days I did all five, other days I only did a couple.
The pay off? My body shape is changing, my clothes are starting to feel different AND MY PLANK TIME IS INCREASING! I used to do 4-5 minute planks a few years back. I stopped working out like I used to about a year again and noticed I could only get to 30 seconds🥺… I hit the 3 minute mark today 🥳
Who knew exercise snacks were so amazing?
