Since it began 10 years ago, @canva has grown into one of the world’s most valuable private software companies.

The company says it has roughly 150 million users and that more than 200 new designs are made every second.

why did you start canberra
always many years ago i was at university and i'll teach you design programs and i thought they were extraordinarily complicated it would take a whole semester for paper to learn the very basics and so i believe in the future everything will be online and collaborative and really simple and we've been really working towards that now for the last decade
by we you mean
you and your cofounders and one of your cofounders i believe became your future husband right yeah well he was actually my boyfriend before he became a co-founder cliff is quite funny looking back
like you know obviously the last decade i've had to learn about venture capital and angel investors and just like the whole vocabulary and the whole world
but at that point in time we're just like well let's create some software
