FAQs for our wood boiler series:

How many cords does it take to fuel Ms. Boil through a Northern Pennsylvania winter in the Appalachian Mountains?

We heat a 2500sqft workshop, a 1700sqft house, and a 420sqft greenhouse.

On average, we use 10-12 cords of unsplit logs each winter. Opting for larger pieces maximizes burn time for efficient heating.

one of the most common questions we get asked about the wood boiler is how many cords of wood do we go through and seeds and now we're shooting our twenty five hundred square foot shop
our seventeen hundred square foot house
and our greenhouse
so with that being said we'd probably go through an average of ten to twelve cords
the logs aren't split they're actually cut into the biggest pieces we can possibly handle and then chucked in whole we found this gives us the longest burn time
