david never existed
the king david or the old testament
that was until nineteen ninety three
when in
dan the very northern part of israel
they discovered this inscription that talks about the house of david
this inscription is not an israeli inscription
this is an inscription from the king of aram who says he defeated the house of david
aram was a kingdom in what we now know as syria
so not only do we know that david existed we have an inscription from a foreign king which says so and this inscription is now housed here at the israel museum
