To you, that might mean Lamborghinis and dream vacations. Or it might just mean a life free of stress, where you can rest easy without ever needing to think about how your next bill is going to get paid.
But any dream takes some discipline and commitment.
It doesn’t need to take decades, but waking up every morning and making a decision to move forward can still be tough.
So here’s an exercise to help you approach every day like a winner:
Get a pen and WRITE DOWN (don’t type) all the things that YOU think represent winning behavior.
When a winner’s alarm goes off in the morning, do they hit the snooze? Or do they get up and get moving?
What do they eat for breakfast?
When it’s time to get to work, do they get sh*t done, or do they hit Netflix first?
Be as detailed as you can.
Step two: Tape that page up to your bathroom mirror, or on your office wall, or even on the dashboard in your car. Somewhere you’ll see it every day.
Now, every day when you look at it, read those words and decide whether today you’re going to CHOOSE to act like a winner… Or like a loser.
Because they say success is a habit… And maybe that’s true. But either way, success is the result of how we choose to act every single day.
Another thing that helps is surrounding yourself with a community of people who motivate each other to make those choices.
