day three of january where it can something every day this month we are doing taco meat
for any ground meat that we're gonna can
you need to cook it at least halfway
once you get there you're going to add one cup of water these seasonings go ahead and screenshot
and mix that really well
those measurements were for three pounds of whatever meat you're using
once you are ready to jar it we are going to go ahead and fill your jars up to one inch headspace
make sure you get all the liquid and good stuff from the bottom of the pan in those jars as well
i had some extra room so i did cut up some onions and put to the top of it
you don't have to do that but i didn't jar them up very well so this was the best option in my mind
once you're ready we're gonna wipe the room down really well too good a good seal and those brings and flats go on finger tight no tighter than that because we don't want them to buckle in the pressure canner
load your pressure canner up and the pine skit pressure canned for seventy five minutes and courts for ninety minutes
