yeah an emotional attachment to the outcome opposed to what you're sacrificing i think a lot of times when people started discipline they're just thinking of what they have to stop doing or how their life is gonna suck instead of how good it's going to be when they crossed the finish line feed that every day do it first and do it fast i tried to make sure that my disciplines or my habits are done earlier in the morning so i'm not waiting to the last minute in rushing through it people with an accountability partner have a sixty five percent chance of crossing the finish line that means without one your chance drastically diminishes for whatever that finish line looks like so get someone who will check in with you but this doesn't mean they're holding your hand you have to show up for you like to stay consistent long enough just to trick my brain so i always do this like ten day challenge like kind of you know challenging myself i bet you can't make it ten days and then i track my progress and by the time i get today eleven i'm so proud of the work that i've put in i'm too far in to quit so sometimes you just have to trick your brain the quality of your disciplines matter meaning don't look for shortcuts don't look for cheats it's a lot like going to the gym whenever you're lifting weights your posture matters you can either hurt yourself or you're going to be putting in exerting a lot of energy and not getting the results you want so when it comes to whatever discipline you're doing make sure you're doing it fully and show up and be present you don't have to let your emotions take you out from being disciplined
