as well what could you apply from your your upbringing in south africa
to american coaches
that could benefit us
oh man what could i apply
that's that's a tough one one one thing i will say is this
one of the biggest things i feel
happened in america you know
because of the slave trade is
it wasn't just people that was stolen from africa
it wasn't just lives that were stolen from africa the more i read about it the more i understand
that fundamentally they stole one of the most valuable things you can steal from a person and that is the knowledge of your culture
the knowledge of
who you are a part of just because you are
and that's such a beautiful powerful thing to have as a human being is just to be like yeah this is this is who i am and this is what i do and
it's like it's like i get to it's my team right it's my team whether i like it or not whether they liked me or not they always going to be my team
and so
one thing i've always admired about black americans and this is something that i feel has traversed the globe is
black americans created a culture unto themselves
which is beautiful you know hip hop and and and and style of language and and and and and dressing and everything and and that became a culture
but i feel like over time there are a few negative aspects of black culture that have moved forward that don't need to move forward
you know so like
i don't think we need to celebrate ignorance i genuinely don't i don't think we need to shun people who argue are ignorant because we understand how ignorant
