don't give a shit about their school grades zero my kid comes to me and says look i got my report card to go do you care about what's on there because i didn't create that test i don't care about that when i care about is how you show up in the world when i spend time with them i'm always sticking to that list of stuff i want to teach them one thing give you my my kids you would notice real quick as they will introduce themselves to you they've been doing it since they were two why because anytime they go play at the park and they come back and say i made a new friend i go cool what's his name what's her name i don't know and it didn't take them long to figure it out so now they'll run back i made new friends i made john and matt i just don't want them to ever try to be somebody for me because i don't need to be anybody for me to love him deeply
