ah sorry is not enough you need to pay up that's what former colonies are saying to european countries and leading the charge is barbados prime minister is in the uk right now she did not just make an appeal for reparation she came with an exact figure four point nine trillion dollars most of it is slavery now these numbers may sound like a lot while the barbados prime minister has announced she says don't take them out of context this wealth
was accumulated over decades and centuries if you think like that the numbers are small
and we agree here in india colonial reparations are a hot topic enrich and looted forty five trillion dollars from india imagine that forty five trillion dollars taken away that's thirteen times india's current gdp and colonialism does not just take away money it takes a confidence it takes some time
and it takes a self-respecting
sometimes
it can take decades to regain news
if anything
forty five trillion is less these european powers they're all democracies all of them talk about rule of law
and it's time to walk the talk basic
you committed a crime
but the victims i get to be compensated and the gullfoss yet to be punished
