do you know the difference between a good person and a nice person my son's almost twelve and i just asked them that question while we're sitting down at lunch and he blew my mind he said a nice person as people pleaser and a nice person will make choices in the interest of making everybody happy that may not be good for them he'll make worse choices to be popular a good person doesn't care about being popular they will do what they believe to be right because they care about what is good for everybody not whether or not they are liked he's only eleven
