dogs and children prefer to play with each other
now i'm a mom and i know if one of my children also learned they watched to me
but i also know that compared to my husband i'm a deeply boring human being and therefore my children prefer to play with my husband and there is a reason for this
children and dads get a peak in oxytocin for playing with each other we can see it in the brain on the scanner screen
they get a peak in oxytocin being nurtured by their moms so monks are really good at playing we certainly aren't we don't get that neurochemical peak and neither does our kid
so it has evolved that forms and children gravitate towards each other
to play each other
