BlackRock, JPMorgan Chase, and McKinsey & Company are working with the Ukrainian government to establish a “fund of reconstruction” to attract billions of dollars in private investment to assist in rebuilding projects. The program aims to attract up to $400 billion in foreign investment to target various areas of the economy, from clean energy to defense to natural resources. BlackRock and JPMorgan are donating their services, although the work will give them an early look at possible investments in the country. The assignment also deepens JPMorgan’s relationship with a longstanding client.
