🚨 Social Media Algorithm Explained 🚨

If you want to win the game you must first understand the game.

Let’s begin with “How do these platforms make money?”
The answer ➡️ Ads. This means the more people are on the app the more money these social media platforms make.

This is why they prioritize “Watch Time” and “Engagement” but mainly “watch time”.

Let’s breakdown this process step by step ⬇️

1) When you post a reel or photo it gets distributed to a small portion of your followers and a portion of non-followers whose interests align with your content.

2) If your post receives good watch time and engagement, it will be boosted to more people whose interests align with your content resulting in a lot of views and engagement (typically). If it does not perform well, the post will not get boosted which will result in low views and engagement.

This is why you HAVE to prioritize hooks and visuals in the first 3 seconds to grab the audience's attention to give yourself a chance for a boost. If you perfect the first 3 seconds of your content now all you have to do is create a video with value which is worth watching till the end.

Additional Pro Tip- if you have already posted quality videos but they did not get the views or engagement you want, reanalyze the video and create a better hook. No need to create a new video if the video is quality and packed with value. Most of the time it’s not the quality of the video itself but more so the hook. Give it a try and start a growing your page

i can guarantee the reason why you're not winning on social media because you don't understand the game aka the algorithm let me explain
when you first post your content gets shown to a portion of your followers and non followers whose interests align with your content
the algorithm then measures your content by two things watch time and engagement engagement meaning likes comments shares and saves note the platform by overtime watch time over engagement because a longer someone is on the app the more money the platform makes through ads
if your post receives great wash time and engagement in the initial tests phase you will get a boost to more people resulting in more views and engagement if it does not do well in the initial test phase you will simply not get a boost and therefore your numbers will continue to be low this is why you have to prioritize solid hooks good contacts giving value and making your videos something worth watching
